I'm always looking for new repertoire that I haven't found yet that is unaccompanied and a good challenge. I've given a couple unaccompanied recitals these last few years and want to do another one in the not to distant future. This Monodia will definitely be in the...

next one. It is a nice piece, fun to play, not too hard, but will take some practice, has nice harmonies, and is nice to listen to. In my unaccompanied recital in August I includd Paul Muller-Zurich's Sonate for solo viola, and Aaron Minsky's "truckin' through the south" for solo viola, and among the pieces for solo violin I did Ysaye's "Danse Rustique" from opus 27#5 and Arthur Honeggers sonata for solo violin.
