A 26 in concerto. Composed by Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber. Edited by Werner Jaksch. Sacred Music from Salzburg. Missa Alleluja A 26 In Concerto. Sacred vocal music, Masses, Latin. Single Part, Viola 3. 8 pages. Duration 30 minutes. Carus Verlag #CV 40.679/15. Published by Carus Verlag (CA.4067915).

This first edition of a mass by Biber offers a new glimpse of the colourful and contrastful world of the Baroque. Since the publication of his "Missa Salisburgensis" in 1903, no mass with this kind of many-voice scoring has appeared in print. This edition not only enriches the multi-choir repertoire, but also is an important contribution to study of an Austrian composer, who has long been known chiefly for his violin compositions. Score and part available separately - see item CA.4067900.
