    The first four songs in the set are written on two staves, but the last, "La Vallee des cloches" (the one I am working on) is written on three staves. With three staves, frequent hand crossing, and multiple points where my hands cannot reach all the notes, and the music...

    is little to no help in cluing you in on how to play it, I do not recommend attempting this song without the aid of a teacher. However, that said, this is a beautiful set of pieces! They make you feel like you're sitting outside and listening to nature.

    First, let me emphasize that these works are incredibly difficult. Few songs have ever been written at the level of difficulty of "Une Barque sur L'Ocean". If you are studying without a teacher, be warned that this collection lists no fingerings. There is one note in "Une Barque..." that...

    does not exist on a standard piano. I believe that the music was edited faithfully. The note would be G# 0. If you substitute A 0, it is nearly impossible for most to notice.
