  • August 24, 2004 Great Book

This book is pretty good but I feel that Vol1 is something that is absolutely amazing in terms of everything. There are great exercises and songs at the end of few exercises which use these. Has good theory which the Vol1 didn't have. The only thing not very good...

is the song selection. Troy's composition in this book is not as good as his compositions in the other books. Moreover a lot of songs sound like Nirvana, Offspring, Blah, Blah, ... when I was expecing to hear a lot of things like Black Sabbath, Megadeth, etc.. I would still give it 5 stars becuase as a lesson book, it still rocks. It's not a Black Sabbath transcription book anyway.
