Late-beginner for Harp. This is a simple and peaceful version of Enya’s beautiful Lord of the Rings song. Christy-Lyn’s arrangement of “May it Be” includes simple rolled chords in the left hand during the verses, and broken triads during the chorus. There is not too much variation in the left hand, which gives time to focus on playing hands together without stress, and solidifying your basic harp technique to set up good habits for the future. You’ll find it surprisingly easy to learn this beautiful, peaceful song!

Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Late-beginner. This piece has melody in the right hand and simple accompaniment in the left hand. The right hand includes all 4 fingers with some overlapping brackets. The left hand plays simple triads and 2-note chords, with repetitive rolled chords and broken chords.

Type of Harp: Big and small harps that are 26 strings or bigger.

Range: Lowest note is C an octave below middle C, highest note is D two and a bit octaves above middle C. 

Levers/Pedals: It is in the key of C major, with no lever changes.
