    I love this series for piano students. It has charming progressive pieces from each historical period of music and comes with a CD so the student can hear how the pieces are to be played. The repertoire is fun to learn and play and sounds great in performance. I have...

    used the Technic book in this series and love that also. I would recommend this series to any teacher or student of classical music.

    A terrific essential for teaching the classics, especially when used in conjunction with the Practice and Performance book. The CD that comes with it now is the icing on the cake!

  • June 22, 2007 Wonderful teaching tool!

    I love that this book comes with a CD. What better way to teach classical music than to hear it played correctly. My students have progressed rapidly because they are familiar with the pieces, and are able to correct themselves instantly when mistakes are made.
