This is Level 5 in this series, and the pieces chosen are both challenging and motivating. From the piano pedagogue's standpoint, your student will never be bored, and he or she will continue to learn exciting performance repertoire. Every period, from Baroque to Modern 20th Century is represented. The Villa-Lobos piece, O Pilichinello is a showstopper that your student will want to master. Lastly, the pianists on the performance CD included are outstanding! These Alfred performance editions are worth every penny.
