    Wow! I play a little guitar. Basic louie louie chords. But when I found the Mariachi method book not only did it give me the fundementals of guitar playing but I was proud to play and learn the Mexican songs that I grew up with. But the oldie but goodie...

    song "Baby Sweet Baby" Which was a good example of music being universal gave me a sense of pride. Mexican Mariachi music is for everybody. Thanks to the author. Looking foward to the next book.

    If you are an absolute beginner, and are interested in playing Mexican / Mariachi guitar, this book is invaluable. I'm waiting for a part II, as there is nothing else like it on the market. The CD helps sooo much!
