I am a beginning player, so the exercises in this book are challenging for me, but I feel acquiring these skills will be worth the effort.

This is the book I have looked for for a long time. This is not a book on tunes to play, but a good study on actually learning the mandolin. Goos scale studies and chordal techniques. I highly recommend the book.
