Aardman Animation’s first foray into feature-length films in 2000 brought their distinctive claymation style to the big screen with a loose adaptation of The Great Escape. Sharing scoring duties were Media Ventures alumni John Powell and Harry Gregson-Williams who, with tongues planted firmly in their cheeks masterfully blended the classic tropes of symphonic war movie music with a comedic and satirical edge.
