  • 2002-11-17 00:00:00.0 Great for 5th-6th Graders!

I used this musical with 5th-6th graders in 1993 and it was loved by the students and audience alike. The soloists dressed in costumes that fit the "part" of the songs. Choreography was simple and added lots of interest. I wrote additional simple speaking parts to introduce the sections...

and to feature more students. I am planning to use this musical again in Spring 2003 at my new school since it was so much fun the first time! However, I did choose to omit one section since I felt the songs would not be well received at our Christian school. The ShowTrax is a must. Other feature medleys by this arranger that I've used and thought were great for the students are: "Song of America" and "Disney Spectacular".
