Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576673).Many years ago I wrote a song about looking in the personal ads, imaging four rather different individuals searching for their ideal partners. The effect is comic but also a bit sad. At the suggestion of a cellist friend of mine I have created an additional cello part for it, added a couple of little solo passages for her and some moments (pauses and cello chords) for optional histrionic expression on the part of the performers. Two versions of this are avaialble, one with piano and one with guitar accompaniment - the accompanying styles are rather different between them, so I have published them separately.
