Composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Craig Garner. Romantic Period,Sacred. Score and parts. 30 pages. Dorm 40 Music #2928679. Published by Dorm 40 Music (A0.740238).

The glorious Liturgy is steeped in the Russian Orthodox tradition. Originally for unaccompanied chorus, the simple but rich harmonies resonate beautifully for quintet. This arrangement is in 4 movements, which may be played together or one at a time: Lord Have Mercy - Cherubic Hymn - Praise the Lord, Alleluia - Merciful Peace. Suitable to be played in a concert or any church service. Tchaikovsky said, "There is nothing like entering a church, standing in semi-darkness, the scent of incense in the air, in deep contemplation searching for answers to the questions, wherefore, when, wither and why?" Performance time, 11:30. Published by Dorm 40 Music, www.dorm40music.com.
