  • February 14, 2009 awesome book

overall, this book is awesome. it sounds great on acoustic piano. the arrangements are pretty close to the real thing, with improvising. china is in a really weird key. otherwise, most of the songs are wonderful to play.

  • January 15, 2008 Not the accurate songs

It's fine for what I need but a bit dissapointing since it's arrangements for the songs and not her actual piano parts. Still really nice arrangements though.

i think Tori's music is verging in genius, the way she manipulates the keys to make such off beat sounds and unpredictable chords. This book was quite difficult for me because I'm used to more Enya/David Lanz stylings, however the challenge was much appreciated. Leather takes a...

little while to master, but it's fabulous once you've got it!

  • January 09, 2003 Good stuff

Tori is fabulous no matter what, and in a book of her music, this displays it very well. All the songs are very fun, but with the melody in the music, it didn't work. However, it's still set up in such a way that you can figure out...

what's not being said in the original. Little Earthquakes, Mother, Precious Things, Crucify, and Happy Phantom NEED you to be in the song and to jam it up, because (for LE especially) the sound is a little empty without the band. All in all, it is a great book that expresses Tori's view of the song, and leaves room for your own individual style. Have fun! Lotsaluv.

  • September 14, 2002 Great book!

I have played the piano for about 5-6 years, and I thought the book was quite difficult, but a fun challenge.(?) It sounded almost the same as Tori plays. I think its a really great book!!
