I actually bought this to play on the harp, expecting edited versions of Chopin. While it was not what I expected, I was DELIGHTED to find that instead these are a collection of Chopin's easier works, at a variety of levels. There are indeed four or five very easy...

pieces that I could almost play at sight reading... others will require a bit of work. That variety means that this is an excellent collection for a regularly performing musician, and for student musicians who are growing and improving. For me, this set is much MORE than I expected, a great value. I prefer to work with actual works than with edited versions (and that is a great thing to instill in students, there are indeed Chopin pieces you CAN play as a begginner). Because of this variety, it is hard to call this book easy, this book includes easy to advanced. I think this collection is so well thought out that I intend to look at the others in the series. For a student who is performing, this is an excellent gift.

The title should probably say "easier" since none of Chopin's music is "easy." This collection is filled with high quality original repertoire, not arrangements or "watered down" easy versions. The Preludes in A Major and E minor representing the "easiest" in this book are about Level 6. A great...

    edition of Chopin's shorter works.

It says easy pieces and dances. Very little music by Chopin is easy, I know, I have almost all his music and play a lot of it. I'd say that if you are buying sheet music by Chopin, expect there to be something hard in it. By easy it...

means that compared to most of his music, these or easy.

You advertised this music as easy Chopin. Far from it. Some of the pieces were the original music. I was quite disappointed
