  • September 25, 2005 A great book for beginners

This book covers a lot of Metallica's material, spanning from their early days with Cliff Burton (songs from the Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning, and Master of Puppets albums) to the more recent stuff featuring Jason Newstead (anything from ...And Justice For All to Reload). If you can...

read sheet music, that's great. If not, then fear not; this book also has tabs! However, the one and only flaw is that the book only has riffs transcribed. So you won't be able to learn a whole song from this book. But still it's a great book. I recommend it for anyone willing to learn some Metallica. Enjoy!

. Great sounding practice and some pretty tricky moves. I love this book and CD!

This is a good book for beginners in that you are playing Metallica songs in no times and if you can read you can learn. It's easy to learn but always a little bit challenging and the CD doesn't tell you how to do it it just shows...

    you how it sounds.
