  • April 03, 2009 Brilliance beyond brilliance.

Any and all of Alkans pieces require the most daring and technical skills. This piece is no exception. This piece will have you playing many fast octaves, gigantic jumps, hand crossing, and between hand alterations. This piece is so difficult, but it does not lack the musical spark that is...

generated in all great pieces. The only thing I found to be of any issue, would be that there were few mistakes in the publishing. Nothing too huge, but are easily correctable. Overall, this is a fantastic piece of music that will leave the listener (and player) stunned and amazed.
