I learned to read music when I was 7 years old, and believe it or not, I have Charles M. Schultz (sp?) to thank for the way I play today (50 years later). You see I wanted to play like Schroeder! But, aside from that, I can also play by...

ear, fill in empty spaces, etc., and what I like to do is get a fairly simple to intermediate piece of music, and then "dress it up". I'd been listening to Erroll Garner for hours yesterday, so was also trying to imitate some of his style (if you haven't heard him, do so - he's amazing!). So, that's what I did with this version. And, with some window dressing, after having it for 15 minutes, it sounds great! Now, for those of you who don't play by ear, I would say the music is about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 5. But, that's what I like, as I'll usually fix it up to about a 4 to 4.5 on a 5 point scale, with my improvising abilities. I would have given it 5 stars, but gave it 4, because it didn't have the verse or chord names. Recommended!
