Viis eesti luurilist rahvalaulu / Five Estonian lyric folk songs. (Songs about Song and Singer) In the 1960's Tormis studied the folklore and ways of using it in his music. This series for female chorus was compiled in 1971. Its different parts are dedicated to the folklorists that Tormis symphatized at that time.
