Published by Lilian Ignatieva (A0.947168).This is a simple arrangement of a joyful composition that Mozart wrote when he was 9 years old. He wrote this piece in pencil on the back of Zurich Music College's circular dated 30 September 1766. "The young Master Mozart and his maiden sister" (Maria Anna-Nannerl) were at end of their Grand Tour.
The piece appeared in the 1984 film Amadeus where the child Mozart played it blindfolded on the harpsichord.
