    Difficulty Level:
  • January 23, 2006 Advanced, but worth your time.

Being more jazz and classical I don't often write reviews for progressive rock bands or their books, but I feel that Dream Theater is one of the most musical groups out there period. The keyboard book doesn't take too many short cuts with the transcription and you find...

it to be pretty much spot on when compared with the CDs and DVDs by D.T. It's cool to see some serious music chops out there and soulful solos. It's not your typical three-chord band or 4/4 meter so be prepared. Advanced for sure, but a true pleasure to play it once you've learned it.
