This piece stands alone as an excellent solo viola selection for any occasion, or can be used as an advanced and fun etude to develop your technical skills. The title is a deliberate misspelling of the word "Chaos." It does move into a number of emotional directions in spite of its brevity of one movement. It is driving, intense and light-hearted at the same time. This will be a joy to perform and share with others as well. It is the type of piece that, when played in the fast tempo indicated, sounds more difficult than it really is -- which is handy at times, as we all know.
