Journey to the Stars is a Symphony with movements that reflect different aspects of the journey from launching pad, to planets, in the life of an astronaut or space craft.

Into Orbit

This movement is supposed to simulate the journey from launching pad, into space, in the life of a spacecraft, or astronaut. The spoken words at the end indicate point of launch all the way into the orbit of our planet or, perhaps, moon. Instead of a "countdown" there is a "countup" that is verbalized by members of the orchestra in the final moments of the piece.
