Composed by James Lord Pierpont. Arranged by Augustin Lehfuss. Christmas,Folk,World. Score and parts. 7 pages. Gustfuss Records #3044641. Published by Gustfuss Records (A0.876885).

A funny version of the famous christmas song "Jingle Bells", arranged by Austrian arranger Augustin Lehfuss and was originally written for the German "Rennquintett", whose members used to perform it on their christmas shows.

"Oberkrain" is an remote area somewhere in the Austrian and Slowenian alps, which has created a special style of folk music, which is quite popular in the eastern alpine regions

This arrangment is part of a series of 5 arrangements of "jingle bells" for brass quintet, which are also available here on SMP ( also in a swinging, a chinese, a french waltz and a latin style), but wiith a length of just 75 seconds it will serve well as an encore number played alone.

see also the other 4 Arrangements in this serie, which can be found at the same publisher´s appearance here on SMP.
