This is a short Christmas or Epiphany motet for SATB a cappella. The text, by St Hilary of Poitiers, considers the visit of the Magi: "Jesus holy redeemer of all the nations, has shone forth his brilliant light, All the faithful sing frequent praises of his deeds. The bright star, shining in the heavens towards his birth and, going on before, led the wise men to his cradle They, falling down, worship the child wrapped in swaddling clothes, acknowledge him to be the true God, bearing a mystic gift" (Translation © Ronald Looker 2015, used with permission).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
