From Dieterich Buxtehude's cantata, 'Jesu, meine Freude,' this edition excerpts the opening sinfonia and three of the choral stanzas and is scored for SAB choir, two violins, and continuo. This edition also includes additional notes in the baritone range an octave higher than the original in order to accommodate singers whose range does not include the lowest notes. These additional notes do not change the overall structure, inversion, or chord quality.
