Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Ric Flauding. 20th Century,Christian,Contemporary,Film/TV,Sacred. Score and parts. 43 pages. Denise Lea Flauding #2887905. Published by Denise Lea Flauding (A0.867844).

One of Ric's best-selling Hymn arrangement for orchestra. This arrangement was premiered by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. The song is usually associated with and performed by children, but the arranger took a different approach. Scored for a medium standard orchestra with single woodwinds, 2 horns, trumpet, trombone, strings and 2 percussionists (including timpani). The middle contrapuntal section concludes with a quote of "Amazing Grace" joining the refrain, answering, "Yes, Jesus loves me." Beautiful, often surprising and dramatic, the original scoring lifts this classic melody to a whole new level. As recorded by Ric Flauding.
