I love Phil’s arrangements. It says beginner but the arrangements are beautiful. Many Christmas songs in my hymnal are difficult to play, cut and dried. These arrangements make the music so enjoyable to play and the listeners think I’ve advanced my skills😍. Added enjoyment are the fun Christmas songs we sang as children. A must for all pianist. I have many of Phil’s books and they are a pleasure to learn and play.

As a pianist and piano teacher, I know that the right piece for a student, makes a great difference in their piano journey. These pieces can easily be fit to the level of each student, plus the repertoire is widely know throughout the World. The textures and colors Phil has arranged these pieces with, is interesting and very beautiful. I feel lucky to have this book in my hands now. Thank you maestro Phil.

I purchased these Jazzy Arrangements because of the many glowing reviews.I was disappointed because the songs did not sound jazzy.

This is a very nice selection of Christmas songs that are easy to play but sound normal. Great for kids or adults who play for enjoyment. Easy to add left hand notes to spruce up, if desired. Not as much jazzy as elegant.

This was a gamble but turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Some jazzy arrangements of Christmas favorites. These are simple but beautifully arranged familiar melodies with very pleasing harmonies and rhythmic left hand accompaniments. I also like the print-it-yourself idea. This way I can punch and put them in a notebook in a way that makes sense i.e. fewest page turns as possible.

THESE ARE THE MOST WONDERFUL ARRANGEMENTS! 20 beautiful Christmas pieces! Don't play them too fast, you'll miss tasting the unexpected, beautiful chords and harmonies! Just lovely! Phil's arrangements are the best! I highly recommend these!

I purchased these Jazzy Arrangements because of the many glowing reviews, which ultimately led to disappointment. Though some of the songs or portions of songs are interesting, some are not much different than playing directly out of a hymnal. I didnt find them all that jazzy either, just a few non-standard chords in place of the traditional chords with a few even sounding wrong (like they were added just to be different). I also found some of the notes and measures crowded and hard to read.

Love these arrangements of many of the most loved Sacred and secular Christmas carols and songs. I plan to use these easy listening arrangements as background music for my gigs and my students' gigs during the Christmas season. I know the lush sounds and reharmonizations will be a bit hit with audiences of all ages!

I purchased this digital book and was so happy to find such beautiful, and easy-to-accomplish, Christmas music. It appeals to even the most critical ear ... pleasant sounding, a little jazzy, and playable!! And Phil Hamm is soo helpful, gifted, and a blessing!

I liked the pieces and found them easy to play for the intermediate level. I wanted it to be a little more jazzy, but for a young student, it will certainly work. I liked the Silent Night arrangement the best.

These are definitely Christmas Arrangement with a little Jazz. Phil Hamm is a genuine Christian composer/songwriter who is always available to assist and give advice. I am so happy to have made the purchase. My daughter, wife and I look forward to playing these songs together. We highly recommend these arrangements that Phil has put together.

I needed something to play for background music, this is excellent! I am very happy with the arrangements, they mostly fit on two pages, the chords are interesting and not all straight or traditional. The melodies are easy to read and pick out of the chords. I'm now looking for other titles by this arranger as I thought this purchase was worth what I paid for it. Thanks!

I own several of Phil Hamm's books of piano arrangements, and I am never disappointed by his work. These Christmas songs are arranged in a fresh way that makes me enjoy playing them. I look forward to playing them this Christmas season and playing around with them for the next several holiday seasons since they are easy to improvise with as I continue to advance in piano.
