I think it's the best arrangement of It Don’t Mean a Thing for brass quintet. I liked everything: the introduction, the complex and full harmonies, the syncopations, the general groove, the solos... I am a student trombonist who has a brass quintet of friends and students too, and...

this piece has adequate difficulty to be a challenge for us, but totally affordable and very rewarding when a good result is achieved. I like the swing and jazz music in general, and this arrangement is one of the best swing pieces we have in the quintet’s repertoire. P.S.: We only modified slightly the ending, finishing all of us with a strong note, as we like :D
