Very good material for post practice following Fundamentals of Cello Technique by Francis Grant, then followed by Fundamentals of cello technique by Dotzauer, Grant, ...and then splash in the Intermediate Etudes.

This collection by the masters is a MUST. Great for understanding work in the positions. Very melodic etudes that resonate the cello's greatness. These old masters knew what it takes to get better at playing this instrument! All the pieces beg for personal interpretation. Try your own variations!
