Published by Diamond S Music (A0.790094).IMPROMPTU No.3 in Gb MAJOR, Op. 90 (D.899) by FRANZ SCHUBERT. This beautiful lyrical serenade is the well-loved piece by Schubert. Written in 1827 but not published until 1857, almost 30 after the composers death. This new edition is the original version of the piece except that it has been edited into a 4/4 time signature instead of the archaic time signature on 4/2 which is no longer in fashion. This new 4/4 edition will be easier to read by modern pianists. All the notes are the original. This edition also includes a short essay about the piece.
