Eben’s choral work "Bilder der Hoffnung" [Pictures of Hope], premiered in 1998 in Mainz, was a commission for the 93. Congress of German Roman Catholics. For this version the work has been ex-panded with a prelude, several inter-ludes and a postlude for organ.
