This facsimile of an original by Nicolas Chedeville is part of our French Classical Music from 1650 to 1800 collection. Sheet music score: Il Pastor fido of Nicolas Chedeville. Editeur : Paris, Boivin, 1737. This sheet music score was previously published under Vivaldi's name. Philippe Lescat, who discovered the fraud, has written the introduction. These six sonatas can be played on the flute, violin, musette or hurdy-gurdy. The pastorale of Sonata IV has an obbligato cello part.
