Answering your e-mail about my recent purchase, I must say that I heard this music a few years ago in a Christmas Concert at Westminster Cathedral in London, sang by its Choir and directed by Mr James O’Donnell. Back to my country, I bought a disc in witch...

it came and I listen it often. Though a modern work, witch normally I do not like, it was made to a rather ancient English poem to the Virgin Mary. And these two so distant and different lines seam to join in a marvellous and lovely prayer to the Mother of Jesus. It is smooth, calm and most peaceful, perfect to the Virgin Mary. I might even consider this work as one of the most important symbol of Christmas message, for Christ was born in a manner, heated by farm animals and shepherds were His first visitors. And this work is as simple as it should be. And for that, beautiful! Thank you. With my best regards, Pedro de Salter Cid, Lisbon, March the 19th of Saint Paul’s year 2009
