This is a nice solo arrangement, suitable for anyone with intermediate skills (or less). Nothing technically difficult - a couple short 16th note runs and a single 32nd note triplet. There’s single 9th (F-C-G) chord in the left hand, but nothing else requiring huge hands. Porgy opens with...

a five bar intro; then the basic A section; moves right to the B section; restatement of the A section with some different voicings from the first; a slightly improvised B section; a nice key change to Bb for the final A section; and finishing with a 12 bar coda taken directly from the beginning of Peace Piece “as played by Bill Evans.” What makes this a nice solo piece is that it doesn’t just duplicate the arrangement when repeating the A and B sections, and everything segues nicely to the Bill Evans coda. This is a fairly straightforward arrangement. If you’re unfamiliar with the tune, check out versions by Billie Holiday or Sun Ra for similar straight readings.
