Eighteen familiar hymn tunes are presented in this collection designed to accompany congregational singing. Each setting features an introduction, a standard hymnal harmonization, an interlude and/or modulation, and a freely-harmonized final stanza with optional B-flat Trumpet. The hymn tunes are almost always stated in the harmonizations as the Trumpet soars above the setting in a bright descant. The purchase of this collection includes the permission to photocopy the Trumpet part as needed.
