For this solo piano rendition of How Firm a Foundation, I've slowed the tempo and fashioned the hymn into a more peaceful, reflective music worship experience that still retains its mood of joy and affirmation. Bookended by my version of Elgar's gorgeous Salut d'Amour, the hymn is arranged in a style that merges the Romanticism with Impressionism. Listen and you'll hear echoes of both Chopin and Debussy. Appropriate as a prelude, offertory, a general worship selection, and a recital piece. 5 pages. Key: C major.
