This is my favorite choral piece of all time. It is warm and inviting, and complex enough to be fun to learn without alienating the audience. It's the type of piece after which the audience sighs contentedly before applauding. During college, I sang this piece under the direction of...

the arranger. We performed it in four countries and it was well-received everywhere.

As a small church choir director, this piece was challenging enough without being discouraging for most members. It also was a way to highlight an excellent soprano soloist.

This is a bautiful, though challenging arrangement. The syncapated counter-rythms in the middle are tricky. The solo parts are lyrical, especially at the beginning and again at the end. A great piece for advanced a capella choirs.
