Choir, SATB - Intermediate
Composed by Philip Nicolai. Arranged by Curtis Hanson. Christian, Sacred, Christmas. 5 pages. Published by Curtis Hanson (S0.114945).

Item Number: S0.114945

This is an arrangement for SATB mixed chorus of the German chorale usually attributed to Nicolai. The bright accompaniment can be played on either piano or organ. Trumpet-like figures in the accompaniment and a rhythmic hemiola provide a wonderful lightness and bounce to the full-bodied choral texture. The piece works well in either the Christmas or Epiphany season.
