"Here Comes The Sun" is one of the most popular song by The Beatles.  It was written in 1969 at Eric Clapton's house during a difficult time in George Harrison's life.  The song is written in the key of A major (this version is transposed to A-flat major), and features some very sophisticated compositional devices - secondary dominants, borrow chords from parallel keys, and time signatures revealing his influences from Indian music.

This arrangement is perfect for a high school-leveled woodwind quartet.  Bass Clarinet is given the opportunity to have the melody in the upper range of the instrument.

Side-note: This arrangement is dedicated to my daughter whose first song she had ever experienced was this song.  Ironically, her name is Lennon.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
