"Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" is an acoustical guitar solo "ala Chet Adkins" edited and arranged by W. David Hedrick. It will require intermediate guitar skills and is not in "tablature." It is a straightforward arrangement with two stanzas - the first mostly in "block" chordal structure; the second with move moving lines. The piece is more suitable for acoustical guitar (steel strings, more volume) but can be played on a classical acoustic guitar (nylon strings). It is a very pleasant sounding and is suitable for any concert where Christmas or seasonal music is performed. It is ideal for a church setting or school setting. The audio clip is a computer rendering in Finale.
