    I used this (with just one spot of editing) for my 8th grade students who wanted to sing a special song for their last concert (they move to the high school building next year) The words were not hard to fit in the tune because my students are so used...

    to memorizing rap music. I like that they also got to learn about the real origin of the song - Pachlbel's Canon in D. It was a bit low, so I transposed it up to the key of F.

  • June 29, 2007 Good graduation tune

    We used this piece for our Middle School graduation ceremony - and it was very well received. Verses are wordy but the essence of the piece is lost without them. Chorus is excellent (can't get it out of your mind).

    when i was in 5th grade we sang this song at our dance and cryed because we wont see each other anymore. now i hope that we will sing the song at 8th grade graduation this year. I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE THIS SONG!!!!
