This rousing tune from Franz Joseph Haydn was one of his favorites. In fact, it is the last music he played before he died. It has been used as the setting for numerous lyrics including those of the Austrian national anthem. The two horn parts in this arrangement provide a brilliant statement of royalty and pomp. The piano accompaniment is above average in technical difficulty. Ranges (written): Horn 1 - C4 to F#5, Horn 2 - G#3 to D#5 / Keys (written): F-major, F#-major.
