Brass Ensemble Trumpet - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.812025

Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Dean Boysen - BrazzMusic Publishing, ASCAP Member. Christmas. Score and parts. 7 pages. BrazzMusic - Dean Boysen #2035005. Published by BrazzMusic - Dean Boysen (A0.812025).

Good King Wenceslas, a traditional Christmastime favorite has been transformed by this arranger into a trumpet trio featuring a strong melody with antiphonal bell-like sounds and subtle echoes within. The original melody/tune was based on a 13th-century spring carol "Tempus adest floridum" ("The time is near for flowering") was first published in the 1582 Finnish song collection "Piae Cantiones". Two modulations and three easily played key signatures make this piece a winner for any trio ensemble. 1st trumpet part to high D measure easily fits one octave lower if need be. A fun piece to be performed and enjoyed by listeners. Enjoy and thank you for your purchase of this arrangement!
