German Carol Suite for brass octet
Six German Christmas carol favorites are arranged for brass choir (octet), in settings that ranges from the lush and velvety "Leise rieselt der Schnee" to German brass band fun in "Ihr Kinderlein, kommet" to bold and brilliant "Morgen Kinder, wird's was geben". The ending is a spectacular burst of brass fireworks that brings audiences to their feet. The piece is a nine minute work out and all the players have a chance to shine. Fröliche Weinachten!
