Published by LUIS FLETES (A0.966164).Güegüense's Dance or Danza del Güegüense was premiered in 1996 at the National Theater of Costa Rica by pianists Professors Pilar Aguilar and Luis Monge to whom this composition is also dedicated. It is inspired in an old literary work of "El Güegüense" in which the natives of Nicaragua used to deal with the Spanish conquistadors, using sarcasm and always trying to ridicule their way to address the people in the 16th and 17th centuries.
