Jazz choir (SATB choir with bass and drums)
Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791). Arranged by Ward Swingle. Jazz. Swingle Singers Series. Set of rhythm parts. Published by UNC Jazz Press (NC.VJ1292-R).

Item Number: NC.VJ1292-R

(W. A. Mozart) (Level 4) SATB, bass and drums. This Fugue is taken from Mozart's Sonata for Violin and Piano KV 402. It's a remarkable demonstration of Mozart's ability to write a long, intricate fugue, inspired by Bach, but not an imitation. My singers have always found that Mozart's instrumental pieces are more "singable" than Bach's.
