Harp - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.596705

By Lynyrd Skynyrd. By Allen Collins and Ronnie Van Zant. Arranged by James H. Marler, II. Rock. Score. 8 pages. Alicorn Music (ASCAP) #3602375. Published by Alicorn Music (ASCAP) (A0.596705).

This iconic song transcends eras. Though it was released in 1974 on Lynyrd Skynyrd’s debut album, it’s still a popular request for cover bands.
This arrangement was written in response to a harpist saying "every gig I play, I get asked to play Free Bird. It would be nice to have a version that has all of the iconic parts in it.

And they are all here. From the grand opening chords, to the piano intro, the opening guitar solo, the melody, the blazing guitar solo, and the final hits (complete with drum fills), this harp solo will leave your audience speechless.

Performance Notes:
This arrangement is written in sections that can be removed or repeated at the player’s preference.

This title has been added as a 2018 Instrumental Arranging Contest Entry.
