  • February 04, 2009 Exactly what the teacher ordered.

    I'm no viola player, my son is but he seems to be doing well with it. He has 2.5 years of previous experience with the viola and his primary learning stemmed from the Suzuki method, the addtion of this book enhanced his learing experience.

  • October 31, 2006 get the basics

    For the student wanting more learning than they are getting in school, this is the first book of choice I have my private lesson students buy. If I feel that they are serious and not taking lessons due to parental urging, then I have them buy the 60 studies. These...

    lessons are wonderful for teaching proper fingering and listening techniques as they make the student think as they play, not just go through the motions.
