    Loved this arrangement the first time that I heard it on Youtube. Not as complex as it might first appear - there is some doubling in parts. Challenging sections followed by the return of the hymn melody - a sense of being home for the choir. Basses in their upper range often...

    but manageable with encouragement. The rhythm might challenge some choirs - great when three pulses over the strong beat but it often switches between three and two (dotted quarter and then quarter notes). Very easy for the choir to achieve if presented carefully the first time. Gorgeous piano part and a cello line to melt even the hardest heart.

    This is a gorgeous setting. The text however illustrates the limits of "justice" as the progressive church defines it. "For everyone born..." justice is required. But what about the preborn? The child in the womb is just as much a person as it is after it is one of the...

    "everyone born." Such limited justice in the name of choice is no justice at all. Otherwise, this is a beautiful piece. Nice cello.
